We’ve spent some time recently talking about the upcoming Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5. The compact, 8.8-inch Android gaming tablet was officially unveiled at MWC last month and brings a massive 9,000 mAh battery alongside the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. But that highly anticipated $849 tablet might not be launching by itself.
As spotted by NotebookCheck, Lenovo’s Consumer Customer Marketing Director in China, Song Yuezhu, recently posted a very interesting photo over on Weibo. The image shows the compact 8.8-inch Legion Tab Gen 5 sitting right next to a considerably larger, completely unannounced Legion-branded slate.

While the post didn’t include an sort of official spec sheet for the bigger device, there are a few key details we can glean just from looking at it. At a glance, the screen size appears to be somewhere in the 11-inch neighborhood. And while it retains the same gamer-focused RGB lighting on the back, it features a dual-camera setup instead of the single 50MP shooter found on the smaller 8.8-inch model.
Both tablets in the photo are shown rocking what appear to be brand-new keyboard cases. The larger model also has a stylus that appears to be magnetically attached to the top of the device.
There is already some speculation that this could launch in China as a new Legion Y900 tablet, but it is entirely unclear if or when it would ever make its way to the global market.
Given that the smaller 8.8-inch Gen 5 model is already confirmed to start at a premium $849 when it hits US shelves this May, it is safe to assume this larger 11-inch sibling will carry a fairly massive price tag if it ever launches stateside. We will be keeping a close eye out to see if there are any official announcements or specs that show up in the coming weeks.
