Have you tried Google’s Play Pass gaming subscription service yet? It offers over 800 apps and games for just five bucks per month and is now available in 48 more countries. Honestly, I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly, and although it’s not for everyone, having a wide variety of unique and interesting experiences at your fingertips and across your devices without having to buy into each one individually – oh, and without in-app purchases or ads – has been invaluable to helping me and many others explore what the Google Play Store has to offer. There’s little commitment, and the bar for entry is very low.

That’s even more pronounced as you can claim a free 3-month extended trial through Google Pay right now. By visiting the Offers tab on the mobile app, you can see that under “Google Pay favorites”, an option for activating the offer appears.

As you can see, by tapping the plus button to the right of it, your offer activates and you can then tap the banner to see your code which can be used to retrieve your 3 free months. There’s a big blue button there as well which allows you to input the code on the Play Store to claim the subscription after you’ve copied it to your clipboard.

Outside of Google Pay and this offer, you normally just get a free 30 days trial of Play Pass, but using this route, you can effectively triple the time you have exploring new apps and games (it was originally just 14 days)! Sadly, this offer is good for use with the United States Google Play Store and must be redeemed by May 16, 2022, or it will expire. Additionally, and most importantly, you can only claim this offer if you’ve never signed up for a free trial of Play Pass before.

If you’ve yet to claim your free 3 months of YouTube Premium through the Google Pay offers tab, you can also activate this while you’re there picking up Play Pass. Let me know in the comments if you’ve used Google’s gaming subscription service at all since it launched, or if you’ve grown bored of its offerings.
