The gorgeous ASUS ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus is now available
Finally! When ASUS formally announced the ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus all the way back in December of 2023, I figured we'd see it arrive early in the spring this year. 2 more new Chromebooks arrive at Best Buy
I said not too long ago that we need some new Chromebooks to show up, and almost as if manufacturers were listening, they are beginning to show up. Snapdragon X Plus costs less than I expected and would be a great fit for Chromebooks
I banged this drum a bit a couple weeks ago, but another big reason has emerged to prove the point that the Snapdragon X Plus just belongs in a future Chromebook. Thanks to a report from VideoCardz, we now know the estimated cost of the X Plus SoC, and it isn't just competitive with Intel's bigger … [Read more...] about Snapdragon X Plus costs less than I expected and would be a great fit for Chromebooks
ChromeOS 124’s settings search is far smarter than I thought
With ChromeOS 124 came the new, overhauled settings app as well. With this new system app, your Chromebook settings are finally parsed out into proper sections instead of being one, long feed of toggles and buttons. It feels far more on-brand for Google and, once again, gives some design alignment … [Read more...] about ChromeOS 124’s settings search is far smarter than I thought
