The Stadia team doesn’t seem to know the meaning of ‘quit’ and it’s filling me with joy months before Christmas. They got quite a bit of scrutiny for a certain Twitter mishap that we won’t keep talking about, and according to many, they were slow to roll out lots of promised features, but it seems like they’re getting their legs now that they’re nearing their first birthday. Six more games will be available to you with your Stadia Pro subscription starting November 1, 2020, and the selection this month is pretty hot. Let’s take a look at what you get for your $9.99 per month and don’t forget that you can now share a free trial with a friend or family member for the opportunity to get a free month of Stadia Pro for yourself in return!

Sniper Elite 4

Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 continues the series’ World War Two heritage by transporting players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to colossal Nazi mega structures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino.

Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance to help free their country from the yoke of Fascism, and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.

If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe.

Risk of Rain 2

“Escape a chaotic alien planet by fighting through hordes of frenzied monsters – with your friends, or on your own. Combine loot in surprising ways and master each character until you become the havoc you feared upon your first crash landing.”

Survive on an alien planet and discover powerful new items and playable characters in solo or co-op mode.

Republique

You receive a call from Hope, a woman trapped inside a mysterious totalitarian state. Hacking into an elaborate surveillance network, you guide Hope through a web of danger and deception across five thrilling episodes.

Developed over five years by industry veterans (Metal Gear Solid 4, Halo 4, F.E.A.R., SOCOM) and fully realized in Unity 5, République Remastered is a thrilling and topical stealth-action game that explores the perils of government surveillance in the Internet Age.

Sundered: Eldritch Edition

Sundered is a chaotic hand-drawn metroidvania where you resist or embrace ancient eldritch powers. Enter an ever-changing world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft as you play Eshe, a wandering traveller trapped in ever-changing caverns filled with hordes of enemies. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of your humanity. Sundered is a challenging and unique take on a classic genre from the creators of Jotun. Sundered: Eldritch Edition includes the Magnate of the Gong update, adding local co-op multiplayer support for up to 4 players, along with new areas and a chaotic battle against the new Magnate of the Gong boss! Resist or Embrace.

In-game, SUPERHOT is running their Pumpkin Spiced Challenge for Halloween and Crayta has a seasonal event called Dark Circus too. PUBG Season 9, which takes place on the plateau of Paramo – a place full of level changing lava – will be available tomorrow. October 31st is also your last day to claim Just Shapes & Beats, Metro Last Light Redux, Strange Brigade, and West of Loathing for free if you have Stadia Pro. Once the beginning of November rolls around, these are gone from the lineup. As I always say, you should claim games that you have no interest in playing just in case you change your mind down the line! Lastly, there are tons of discounts for Stadia Pro subscribers and regular players too, so be sure to check them out!

Oh yeah! We have a signal booster for you too – your monthly public service announcement that Stadia is a completely free platform and only requires you to buy the game you want to play to get started comes to you from Reddit user Symmetricalboy:
