New referral program gives you a free month of Stadia Pro under one condition

In just under a month, Stadia will be a year old. In that year, they’ve made lots of improvements and released tons of features and games. Aside from their unwanted attention last week, I would say they’re doing alright for being new to the game. Most of what people don’t like about the cloud gaming service falls heavily on the wrong expectations being set both by Google themselves and just as much by us fans. Likely in an effort to boost their player numbers so they can show off and summarize their first year’s successes during their next event, they’re now giving away a free month of Stadia Pro to members who get a friend to sign up.

Here’s how it works – you’ll gift a friend a month of Stadia Pro via a free trial referral and if they then sign up to pay for Pro out of pocket once that trial ends, you’ll get a free 30 days of Stadia Pro as a kickback for your evangelization efforts (US and Canada only, of course). During their free trial, your buddy will get access to 29 games which they can play instantly! For the next few days, they will also have access to two of Stadia’s very first demos – Immortals: Fenyx Rising and HUMANKIND – neither of which requires Stadia Pro to enjoy. These demos can be a good way to get them hooked on the idea of Stadia before they even try your referral link!
