Let's face it, earbuds get dirty - often. The sad reality is that they're a breeding ground for bacteria, even if you clean your ears daily (as you should!) One thing many Pixel Bud users probably forget more often than that though, is the fact that they need to clean their earbuds too. Fortunately, … [Read more...] about Wax on, wax off: Google will remind you to clean your Pixel Buds, but don’t wait until they do

Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro reach their lowest-ever prices for Prime Day
OK, so I have to address the elephant in the room for this one. Yesterday, I pointed to the fact that - for Chromebooks, at least - Best Buy's Black Friday in July sales are better than what we're seeing over at Amazon. For Chromebooks, this means the difference in taking advantage of great deals … [Read more...] about Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro reach their lowest-ever prices for Prime Day
Don’t miss this deal on the Pixel Buds Pro just in time for Father’s Day
As Father's Day gifts go, tech-based presents always top the list for me when I'm trying to figure out what to buy. There's not always a clear-cut gift path that fits my buying habits, however, and some years it just isn't in the cards. I don't know about you, but I'm not buying iPads, phones, … [Read more...] about Don’t miss this deal on the Pixel Buds Pro just in time for Father’s Day
Google is giving users a new reason to try out the Pixel Buds Pro: Clear Calling
The Pixel Buds Pro - now coming up on about a year in their life cycle - are set to get a new feature that is quite a bit more useful than what we've seen with recent updates like Spatial Audio. Don't get me wrong: Spatial Audio is fun to mess around with, but it's not exactly the most practical … [Read more...] about Google is giving users a new reason to try out the Pixel Buds Pro: Clear Calling
Pixel Buds Pro are discounted ahead of new Pixel phone announcements this week
As we anticipate the full announcements of a lot of new Pixel-branded hardware in just two days from now, it looks like Google is doing a bit of pre-event build up as we head into Google I/O 2023. The Pixel Watch already hit a solid sale price this weekend, and now the Pixel Buds Pro are following … [Read more...] about Pixel Buds Pro are discounted ahead of new Pixel phone announcements this week
In a bit of a twist, a new color is on the way for Pixel Buds Pro and A-Series
It isn't very often we see new colors for accessories long after they've hit the market. From time to time, we see new phones launch and then get an additional color a few months into their life cycle, but even that is pretty rare. For earbuds especially, this just isn't something we see that … [Read more...] about In a bit of a twist, a new color is on the way for Pixel Buds Pro and A-Series
Pixel Buds Pro finally receive head-tracked spatial audio
Though it was announced as a "coming later this year" feature when the Pixel Buds Pro were unveiled at Google I/O 2022, spatial audio was never actually added to Google's latest earbuds in 2022. The feature - which gives users a more-immersive audio experience and can place sound in a specific … [Read more...] about Pixel Buds Pro finally receive head-tracked spatial audio
Google lists apps with Spatial Audio support on Pixel Buds Pro
Google "dropped" their Pixel Feature Drop on Monday and with it came a slew of new features available immediately on your Pixel devices, as well as some that will be arriving next year. The battery widget is one of the most overlooked and underappreciated Pixel phone gems
When I set up my phone screens, I'm always conscious of how the information displayed benefits my workflow and my life in general. More often than not, I will place apps that tie more closely into my personal life than my business endeavors. For example, I'll place a photo frame with pictures of my … [Read more...] about The battery widget is one of the most overlooked and underappreciated Pixel phone gems
Yes, AirPods work fine with Pixel phones, but Pixel Buds Pro work better
We see this question floating around the web quite a bit: will my AirPods work with a Pixel? The simple answer is, of course, yes! Though AirPods (or AirPods Pro) are designed to work best with Apple products, they are still Bluetooth earbuds that can be connected to a wide variety of devices. As … [Read more...] about Yes, AirPods work fine with Pixel phones, but Pixel Buds Pro work better
Google’s Pixel Buds Pro are winning me over, but they need one more thing to be perfect
I'll be the first to admit I've been a bit all over the place when it comes to Google's new earbuds. When they were first announced a bit surprisingly at Google I/O 2022 in May, I was nothing but excited. Finally, we were getting the Pixel Buds I always wanted, with all the ANC and transparency … [Read more...] about Google’s Pixel Buds Pro are winning me over, but they need one more thing to be perfect
Pixel Buds Pro firmware update fixed my biggest gripe with them
When the Pixel Buds Pro were first announced back at Google I/O 2022, I was a mixture of hyped and skeptical. Google's earbuds have always been nice, but they've also always come with a nagging issue that has made them incapable of being my main, everyday-carry earbuds. That issue? Severe … [Read more...] about Pixel Buds Pro firmware update fixed my biggest gripe with them
