Just in time for the World Cup, Lenovo has quietly made the FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition of the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 available for sale on their US website. But based on the retail unboxing videos I’ve reviewed and a rather confusing product page on Lenovo’s own website, it isn’t entirely clear what makes this a special edition in the first place.
Instead of the standard Eclipse Black finish, buyers will receive a Glacier White model and a few themed stickers, but it does not appear to come with a folio case—an accessory that is actually included with the standard Gen 3. And for this “special” edition, you are paying a steep $569.99, while the standard Gen 3 is currently on sale for just $439.00.
This hardware was originally announced at CES 2026 as part of the TECH WORLD showcase Lenovo held at the Las Vegas Sphere. That event served as the official announcement that Lenovo would be the official Technology Partner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. Alongside the new Football AI Pro analytics platform, the company revealed a handful of FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition devices to celebrate the partnership. A few of those are finally available for purchase in the US, including the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra, the Lenovo Idea Tab, the Legion Tab Gen 3, and a special Fan Edition 350 Mouse.

What is particularly odd about the Legion Tab is how little physical FIFA branding it actually gets compared to the rest of the lineup. Over on Lenovo’s website, the special edition Idea Tab clearly shows a FIFA-branded folio case, and the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra features a football-inspired trackpad design and custom back cover. The Legion Tab doesn’t show any of these special physical features. You simply get some stickers, a branded digital wallpaper, and that new matte finish Glacier White colorway.
Adding to the confusion, the product page for the Legion Tab Gen 3 FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition seems to be pretty inaccurate. It currently lists the device in the standard Eclipse Black color and claims that it includes the folio case. However, in a detailed unboxing video from creator SuperSaf, you can clearly see the entire package contents. The device is undoubtedly Glacier White, and the protective folio case is nowhere to be found.
Interestingly, the Gen 3 isn’t the only Legion Tab that Lenovo announced for this World Cup partnership. Lenovo actually showed off a “Surge” green FIFA edition of the more powerful Legion Tab Gen 5 at CES, as detailed by 9to5Google. If you were hoping to get your hands on that vibrant green model in the US or Europe, you are unfortunately out of luck. According to Lenovo’s own Product Specification Reference site, the Surge Green edition is limited to certain regions.
Unless you are absolutely sold on the new white color—which does look quite nice—the Legion Tab Gen 3 FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition is a really tough device to recommend. You are essentially paying a $130 premium for a white paint job and some stickers while losing out on the included case. If you genuinely want a special edition device to celebrate the games, you are much better off considering the Idea Tab for $279, which includes the branded folio case.
