Thanks to a recent blog post by Ubisoft, we recently learned that their popular Uplay+ service would be headed to Google Stadia before the end of the year as Ubisoft Plus. With it, several of their games are due to hit the service for download. As of now, we’re still waiting for Watch Dogs 1 and 2, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Syndicate and Unity, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. Today though, the Stadia store has been updated to include Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn!

The first of the two, Far Cry 5, can be purchased at $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $89.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Far Cry New Dawn is $39.99 for its standard edition and $49.99 for the Deluxe Edition. If you’re a Pro subscriber, you can pick up the better edition of both games for less than $15 each! This special pricing ends on November 11, 2020, so if you’re interested, be sure to act before then!

While I haven’t played New Dawn yet, I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve sunk into Far Cry 5 with my friends. I recently started playing it on GeForce NOW, but it was terribly laggy no matter what I did to adjust it. I’m hoping that playing on Stadia will resolve this. The only thing that makes me sad is that there doesn’t seem to be any cross-play with other consoles at this time! Perhaps Ubisoft is waiting to add this in as a benefit of Ubisoft Plus upon its release. If you’re waiting for their new service, you should refrain from buying these, despite the great prices as they’re going to be included.
