If you missed your chance to claim a free Stadia Premiere Edition bundle last week when Google was practically using a T-Shirt cannon to give them out, there is another way to get your hands on one at no extra cost before everyone else’s presents arrive – that is, if you’re interested in Cyberpunk 2077 – but who isn’t, right?

If you pre-order the game on the Stadia Store at any time before December 18th, Google will hook you up with a free controller and Chromecast via the bundle – that’s a $99 value for free. The good news is that they’re making this deal available to “everyone” (U.S. only), so if you’ve already pre-ordered, you’ll get the bundle too! Just keep checking your inbox for details over the next few days, because the only way to miss out on this if you’ve pre-ordered is to act at dial-up speeds. Supplies are limited and if you don’t jump at it, it will probably disappear almost as fast as my Playstation 5 did out of my Walmart shopping cart today.

Follow these steps

1. Follow this link. You may not see a mention of Stadia Premiere Edition listed on the Cyberpunk 2077 web page yet, but you’re in the right place. You’ll need a Stadia account to sign up for the offer, no subscription required.

2. Click the “Pre-order on Stadia” button.

3. You’ll receive an email and redemption code within a week of the game launching.

4. Follow email instructions for code redemption. We’ll do our best to deliver your Stadia Premiere Edition during the busiest time of the year. Please allow several weeks for shipping. Terms apply. Note that this may or may not arrive prior to the holidays, given proximity to the end of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on Stadia on December 10th for $59.99 USD (€59.99), so long as there are no more delays – yes, I practiced saying that with a straight face. The game has already been delayed multiple times, but Google seems to be confident enough in the new launch date to run a promotion like this, so they must have insider assurance.

If there are any bundles left over after the game officially launches, you may still be able to get one between December 10th and the 17th by following the redemption code and email process listed above. If you want to receive it before Christmas songs start to get annoyingly repetitive though, we recommend you order soon. Google says that it may not arrive at your doorstep before December 25th, but ordering now-ish gives you 36 days for them to get you something that ought to only take a few, so your chances are much better.
