Did you think that just because Black Friday and Cyber Monday were over that we’d stop bringing you holiday deals? Nope! The Youtube Team announced today on Facebook that they are giving away a free 3 months of Youtube Premium to new subscribers as a wrap up to their Cyber Week deals. Yes, Facebook is an odd choice to spread the word nowadays, but Google likes to diversify their approach to news distribution, often posting on Reddit and other social networks as well.
I’ll state the dirty details up front – you can’t have ever signed up for a free trial of Youtube Premium or Youtube Music Premium before and you have to be living in the United States. Oh, and you have four days to claim this deal as it ends on December 6, 2020.
Youtube Premium gives you access to ad-free videos, background listening, and offline play across Youtube and Youtube Music. It’s an incredible value when you look at how much those who do subscribe actually use it. If you decide that it’s not for you, you can just visit the Youtube settings page and cancel your subscription, even from the first day and continue using the benefits until they expire!
After your 3-month trial, you’ll pay $11.99 per month should you decide to keep your subscription. You can also sign up for the Family or Student plan, but unfortunately, each of those just gets one month free. We recommend taking advantage of the holiday deal and then upgrading to a family plan after you’ve had ample time to test and see if the service is something your Family Group would benefit from.
