Just as we settle into summer, Google is here with another Pixel Drop, packed with new and upgraded features for your Pixel phones, watch, and earbuds. This July 2025 drop is a big one, bringing the power of Gemini to your wrist, a mind-blowing AI video generator for subscribers, and some great new tools to keep you connected and creative. Let’s dive into what’s new.

Gemini is now on your Wear OS watch

This is a huge one for Pixel Watch owners and the wider Wear OS ecosystem. Gemini is now officially on your wrist, bringing a more natural, intelligent, and capable AI assistant to your watch. You can now draft messages, create playlists, and find info with a simple, back-and-forth conversation, all without needing to pull out your phone.

Meet Veo 3, your personal AI video generator

For Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, Gemini is getting a massive creative boost with the arrival of Veo 3. You can now simply describe an idea and watch as Gemini brings it to life as a high-quality, short video, complete with natural audio. As a fantastic bonus, Google is giving Pixel 9 Pro owners a full year of the Google AI Pro subscription to try out the Veo 3 Fast.

Keep your VIPs even closer

A new Pixel VIPs widget from the Contacts app is here to help you stay connected to your most important people. You can see their shared location, important dates like birthdays, and recent messages and calls (even from WhatsApp) right on your homescreen. VIPs can also be set to bypass Do Not Disturb, so you never miss an important call.

More fun features

  • AI Stickers in Gboard: You can now generate almost any sticker you can imagine right from your keyboard. Just type what you want, choose an emotion, and send it.
  • Better Expressive Captions: The already great Expressive Captions feature gets an upgrade, now capturing more of the intensity, nuance, and emotion in how people speak, even picking up on elongated words.
  • LE Audio for Hearing Aids: You can now take calls on the go with your hearing aids and easily access presets and change ambient volume right from your phone’s settings.

This is a feature-packed Pixel Drop that makes our devices feel fresh and more capable than ever. As always, these updates will be rolling out to your Pixel devices over the coming days.
