Many Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners are receiving a coupon from Google in their email inbox that gives them $10 off of anything found on the Google Store. As you can see in the image below, taken from my own Gmail account, the coupon states the offer is meant to help inspire you to add accessories and devices that go well with your new phone.
This offer is good until March 16, 2022, so you have another week to claim it. You’ll want to have another skim through your inbox if you have yet to receive it, and if you’re one of those types of people (like me) who simply forgot about it and got busy through the week, this is officially your reminder to use it!
The Fine Print: Available only to United States residents with shipping addresses in the United States. Must be age 18 or older. User must have internet access and must have or add a form of payment at checkout, but may not be charged depending on shipping rates in your region. Promotional codes cannot be used with Guest Checkout, so you must be signed-in to your Google account to redeem the code.
You can apply it upon checkout by either copying and pasting the code seen above (blurred out. What? It’s mine!) or by clicking through using the blue ‘Redeem your offer’ button. If you’ve yet to pick up a case for your Pixel, the one found on the Google Store is just $29 USD, but with the coupon, you can get it for $19.99 USD, which is a steal.
If you’re looking to upgrade your Google Pixel Buds since the last generation cut out like no one’s business, the A-Series Pixel Buds are just $99 and can be dropped down a bit with your coupon. It’s not a lot, but considering the fact that these are much more reliable than their predecessors and they’re under $100, I’d say it’s a great way to spend.
Other examples of ways to splurge 10 free bucks from Google include the 2nd generation Pixel Stand, a screen protector, a Nest Mini, or even a new Chromecast with Google TV. The choice is truly yours, but the less expensive you go with your purchase, the more you’ll feel the benefit of applying the discount, although I’m sure Google’s hope is that you spend more.
I went ahead and applied it to the 2nd generation Nest Hub at $99.99 USD and also applied my remaining Google Store Credit that I accumulated through the purchase of the Pixel 6 Pro initially, and in the end, it came to just $62.48! Let me know in the comments if you’ve already received this coupon, and if you have, what you’ll be spending it on.
