Youtube TV gives everyone free access to HBO Max and Cinemax until Sunday

As a “little gift” for the holiday weekend, Youtube TV has decided to give all subscribers a free preview of HBO Max which includes content like His Dark Materials and The Undoing, and Cinemax where you can check out John Wick 3, Stuber, and more.

You can actually start watching right now! Youtube has turned this preview on for you automatically and there’s nothing you need to do to start enjoying it. Oh, and here’s the best part – this truly is just a free gift, no strings attached – once the preview ends on November 29th at 11:59 pm PT, these two packages will simply disappear from your account. So no, there is no fine print that states “you will automatically be charged thereafter unless you remove it from your account by yourself”.

If you are still interested in keeping either service after your preview period has expired, all you’ll need to do is go into the Youtube TV settings and add them back on for their individual monthly charges. HBO Max costs $14.99 per month and Cinemax costs $9.99 per month if you decide to keep them. They are, of course, added to your monthly Youtube TV bill, which is already pretty expensive nowadays, but if you really like either, I suppose they’re worth a bit extra.

I’m personally having a hard time justifying adding any packages to my bill since I’m already paying eighty bucks per month and I watch TV a lot less than I used to, but that’s just me. Youtube TV also began offering Hallmark Movies Now yesterday, which comes with a 7-day free trial. All things considered, there are so many freebies going around this week that it’s shaping up to be pretty great.
