Google launched Workspace Individual last year as a way to give small business owners or those that are self-employed similar tools as larger enterprises to grow their businesses. The Individual tier of workspace provides access to the suite of Google Apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc., but with extra perks and with a more professional business presence. While a very popular choice, this tier had its downsides, with a storage restriction of 15GB at a cost of $9.99 a month.
This has now changed as Google has announced that it will be rolling out 1TB of secure cloud storage to all Google Workspace Individual accounts. There isn’t anything special that needs to be done or anything to sign up for, as this upgrade will be automatic. This means that every Workspace Individual account will automatically go from 15 GB of storage to 1TB.

In addition to the extended storage, Google Workspace Individual is also expanding to a few new countries and regions, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Argentina. These countries join the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Australia, and six European countries as places where business owners can sign up for Workspace Individual.
There is more to come to Workspace Individual. Still, just recently, Google added merge tags to multi-send in Gmail so you can personalize mass emails and make your business look even more professional. The growing list of functionality make this a viable option for small businesses that want to keep the cost down, but don’t want to sacrifice quality and prestige in the process.
