The new lineup of Fitbit watches was only just announced a couple of months ago and has been available for purchase in stores for half of that time. Considering this, I was very surprised when I saw that Fitbit’s new flagship device – the Sense 2 – is already discounted by 33%.
If you were lucky enough to have caught it earlier this morning, Amazon was selling the Graphite colorway of the Sense 2, which was originally priced at $299.95, at $79.95. That’s over a 73% discount, while the rest of the color options were still discounted but at $199.95 instead. If you got lucky and scored one at the heavily discounted price – Congratulations! Unfortunately for the rest of us, that pricing is now gone.
However, there is still good news. At the modified discount pricing of $199.95, the Fitbit Sense 2, in any of their available colors, is still a really good deal. That’s still a 33% discount on a smartwatch that comes equipped with a new sensor that monitors electrodermal activity (EDA) and measures stress signs like heart rate, heart rate variability, and skin temperature. Additionally, it includes glanceable alerts, extended app and text notifications, smart replies, and soon Google smarts like Google Maps (with GPS + GLONASS) and Google Wallet.
It is unclear how long this deal will last, so it is my advice that if you are looking for a watch that focuses on fitness and wellness, and the Pixel Watch is not a viable option for you, this is a deal you should take advantage of. Not to mention that this makes a great gift for friends and family during this upcoming holiday season.
