Chromebook Perks are amazing. Every time we think we have Google figured out for what they will offer new Chromebook owners, they throw something else in the mix. Recently, they’ve even added a free three months of Stadia Pro so that you can feel what it’s like to play 29 high-quality games through the Chrome browser at no upfront cost. These offers come and go, but one thing is always true – they’re often things that will help users adapt to their new life with a Chromebook and get the most value out of them. Free games and in-game items, web-based video editors like Clipchamp, a Disney+ membership, and even a paid Dropbox subscription – Chromebooks really do come with Perks.
The latest Perk available to claim is a three-month subscription to Youtube Premium. Before you go trying to jump on this offer though, there are a few caveats. You must live in the United States and you must have purchased a Chromebook before January 15, 2022. But wait, there’s more! If you’re already a Youtube Premium, Youtube Music Premium, or Google Play Music subscriber, you’re out of luck. Oh, and if you’ve ever used up your free trial for any of these services, you’re also out of luck. Basically, you can only claim this offer if you’ve never tried any of these services whatsoever with your current Google account. Think of it this way – This perk is meant to draw newcomers into Google’s ecosystem, not just meant to give out free stuff to everyone.
