Nothing like setting up for the big meeting, getting everything in its place them BAM, technical difficulty. Camera isn’t working or maybe you’ve been talking for ten minutes before you realize the blank stares from your online audience are due to the fact they can’t hear you.
Troublesome, indeed.
GSuite released an update to the Admin Console this week to help in minimizing such embarrassing happenings.
The unsupported peripherals warning will be made available to all GSuite editions and allows for admins to check the status of connected peripherals directly from within the Admin Console. This will make pre-meeting checks a little easier and assure your devices are working properly for pre-flight.
To access the monitor head to the Admin Console and navigate to Device Management > Chrome devices for meetings > View and manage Chrome devices for meetings. Additionally, if a device is grayed out it has gone offline.
