Well, today is the day. Best Buy has been touting month-long “Black Friday Now” deals but it was all leading up to the retailer launching its biggest deals during the week leading up to the annual shopping holiday. I’m sure that we’ll see even more Chromebook, smart home, and electronics deals when Black Friday actually arrives, three of the biggest deals we knew about are now live and available for your shopping pleasure.
Google Home Max
Google’s Home Max smart speaker is still our go-to at the office and I can honestly say that it is still one of the best Assistant speakers ever made. That said, it’s still difficult to recommend the massive speaker for the average consumer because it generally costs $299 and it pumps out way more audio than you’d ever need or want in your living room. However, we still love it and it still sounds amazing. If you can get one on the cheap, you should. Besides, it never hurts to future-proof and a speaker this size can come in handy if you’re ever hosting a house party or outdoor event.
As Robby recently reported, the $300 premium Assistant speaker is going on sale for $149 for Black Friday, and today, you can score that deal from a number of retailers including Best Buy. You can also find this deal at the usual retailers such as the Google Store, Walmart, Target, and others. I am a huge fan of Google’s new Nest Audio but at this price, the Home Max is only $50 more and you’re getting three times the speaker. Nest Hub
Google’s first smart display, the Nest Hub is still one of the best smart displays available so long as you don’t want or need a camera. Designed for the more discrete areas of the home, the 7″ Assistant display is perfect for your nightstand or even the kitchen counter. It pumps out enough audio volume to enjoy some tunes, news or a podcast while you’re getting ready for work and you get all the home control you know and love from the Google Assistant. Normally $90, I generally recommend the 7″ Lenovo Smart Display over the Nest Hub but right now, you can pick up the Nest Hub for only $49.99 and that makes it an option worth considering. Nest Hub Max
The most full-features Assistant display on the market, the Nest Hub Max gives you all the smarts of the Google Assistant, an over-sized 10″ HD touchscreen, built-in Nest Cam, face match, and more. You’ll get stereo sound and you can even binge some Netflix while hanging around the house. The Nest Hub Max usually runs $229 but you can pick one up for $179 just about anywhere and get the most advanced smart display on the market.
