Thanks to our eagle-eyed friend Maison Pulaski, we’ve stumbled across a great deal on what some may consider the hottest new Chromebook on the market. Check out Robby’s review of the Acer R13 and see what all the hype is about.
The Acer Chromebook R13 has had very limited availability since its initial release earlier this fall. Now it seems not only is the sleek, new convertible becoming more readily available, you can snag it for $50 less than the Acer’s suggested retail of $399.
Maison brought our attention to Brent Sullivan’s G+ post of Costco advertising the Acer R13 for $349. That makes this a pretty sweet deal for an all-aluminum convertible Chromebook that can, with a little tweak, run Android Apps right now.
As you can see from Costco’s website, this is the 32GB model and the sale runs through Sunday the 13th or while supplies last. That gives you a week to snatch up an awesome device at a very delightful price.
Costco lists their online price before the sale at $389 which is 10 bucks less than the MSRP. So, even if you miss this deal you can still pick up the R13 and definitely get your money’s worth.
