Your company’s logo is coming to the Gemini app in a great little update

For those of us who juggle both personal and work Google accounts, quickly knowing which profile you’re currently using is a small but constant mental task. In a simple but very welcome update, Google is making that a little bit easier by bringing a familiar piece of branding to the Gemini app.

According to a new post on the Workspace Updates blog, your organization’s logo will now appear next to your profile picture in the Gemini app when you’re using your business or education account.

A simple change for better clarity

This is a fantastic and thoughtful UI tweak that helps users orient themselves and easily differentiate their work or school account from their personal one. It brings the Gemini app in line with the experience you already see across other Google Workspace services.

If your organization’s administrator hasn’t uploaded a logo to your Workspace account, don’t worry. Instead of a logo, you’ll see a simple “WORK” or “EDU” badge next to your profile picture to provide that same at-a-glance clarity.

It’s important to note a few key details about this change. The logo will only be visible to other users within your own organization, and for now, it’s a web-only feature, so you won’t see it in the Gemini mobile apps just yet.

This new feature is part of a gradual rollout that started on October 15, 2025, and will be available to all Google Workspace customers. It’s a small but significant step in making the Gemini experience feel more integrated and intuitive for professional users.
