After weeks of leaks, speculation, and in-store sightings, Walmart’s new Onn Google TV 4K Plus streaming device is now officially available for purchase, both on Walmart.com and on store shelves. And it’s still coming in at that incredibly attractive $29.88 price point.

For those just catching up, the Onn Google TV 4K Plus isn’t trying to be the most powerful, spec-heavy streamer on the market. Instead, it’s aiming for that sweet spot of delivering a fantastic, full-featured 4K Google TV experience at a price that’s almost an impulse buy. For just shy of 30 bucks, you’re getting:

  • Full Google TV Interface: All your apps, personalized recommendations, Google Assistant, and Chromecast built-in.
  • 4K HDR Streaming: Enjoy your favorite content in crisp 4K resolution with HDR support.
  • A Capable Core: Inside, it’s running with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which should keep things running relatively smoothly for a device in this class.
  • USB-C for Power (and More!): One of the really welcome upgrades is the move to USB-C for power. As we saw when this device first started appearing, this opens up the possibility of using USB-C hubs for things like wired Ethernet or expanded storage – a big plus for power users!
  • Familiar Remote: It comes with the same remote found with the slightly higher-priced Onn 4K Pro (though, do note, this one isn’t backlit).

We’ve seen Walmart’s Onn devices consistently punch above their weight class in terms of value, and this “Plus” model seems set to continue that tradition, especially with the added flexibility the USB-C port offers.

Buy the Onn Google TV 4K Plus at Walmart

So, if you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger, now’s the time. Head over to Walmart’s website or check your local store’s inventory. For $30, the Onn Google TV 4K Plus is shaping up to be one of the best streaming deals of the year, and a device that many of us have been truly hoping for. We’ll be snagging one to test, and I’m already expecting big things out of this small, affordable streamer.
