Skull and Bones, Valiant Hearts, and more Far Cry goodness coming to Google Stadia

During the Ubisoft Forward livestream yesterday, the company revealed that several more of its games would be coming to Google’s cloud gaming platform, Stadia. Among these are Skull and Bones, Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Far Cry 4. The popular Far Cry title may be making its way to the store later this year, with no release date in sight, but Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is actually available to buy and play right now!

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a game from the same team that brought us Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman Legends, and more. It’s an emotional wartime puzzle game that’s built powered by the Ubisoft Framework – the exact technology that helped the company transform Child of Light from beautiful artwork to game-ready graphics.

Honestly, most of these games are nearly a decade old now, and some would argue that Stadia is just recycling old content, but I’m really happy to see great classics getting love again. I don’t think that every game that comes to Stadia needs to be a new release, as there are thousands of games that I never got a chance to play – Valiant Hearts being one such title – and this provides me and others an opportunity to experience something well worth it but with no downloads!
