Good news for allergy sufferers in the US: Google is expanding the availability of their new-ish pollen tracker feature within the Pixel Weather experience. After initially launching in five other countries over the past several months, the much-anticipated pollen forecast is now beginning to appear for users stateside.
This useful addition shows up as a large, pill-shaped card situated at the very bottom of the main city view in the Pixel Weather app. Similar to the existing Hourly forecast, 10-day forecast, and Weather map cards, the Pollen card spans the full width of the display. For users in the US, it presents distinct, color-coded gauges (rated 0-4) for Grass, Tree, and Weed pollen levels. As with other cards in the interface, you can long-press and drag the Pollen card higher up the screen for easier access if this data is particularly relevant to you.

Tapping on the card expands it to a fullscreen view, providing a more detailed five-day pollen forecast. By default, this detailed view opens to the Grass pollen forecast, but you can easily switch between the different types as well.
The Pollen Tracker’s arrival in the US appears to be via a server-side update, and it’s already shown up on all the Pixel devices we have around the office.. You’ll need to be running the latest version of the Google Weather app (specifically version 1.0.20250315.x or newer) to get the it, but once you have the latest version, you should be seeing the new Pollen Tracker right away: just in time for the full brunt of allergy season.
