The HP Chromebook 13 G1 is still one of the best devices ever created to house our beloved operating system. As we have argued in the past, the Core M5 model has more than enough computing power to handle anything a Chromebook user can throw at it. If you want to go totally overkill, right now you can grab the Core M7 model with 16GB of RAM for the stupid price of $650.
That’s over $400 off retail! The M7 model isn’t even listed on HP’s site but retailers have it listed anywhere from fa grand up to $1400. Apart from the Google Pixel, this is probably the closest to perfection a power Chromebook has ever been and at $650 it’s less than half the cost of Google’s flagship device. (if you could even get your hands on one) The HP 13 G1 also has Play Store access in the Beta channel now without any crazy developer tweaks.
