‘Help Me Create’ in Google Docs now works in seven more languages

Google Docs is taking a significant step towards global accessibility with the expansion of its “Help me create” feature to seven new languages. This recently-announced addition opens up powerful document creation tools to a wider audience, streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity across a more-diverse language set.

Last year, Google introduced “Help me create” as a Gemini-powered tool that transforms simple prompts into structured, visually rich documents. Users can instruct Gemini to generate long-form content, incorporate images, format text, and even pull data from Google Drive files using the “@ filename” command. It all works together to simplify the entire process of document creation, allowing users to focus on content rather than formatting.

Now, this functionality extends beyond English, supporting Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, French, and German. This expansion empowers users worldwide to leverage Gemini’s capabilities in their native languages, enabling seamless collaboration and communication.

To access “Help me create,” users must have smart features and personalization enabled. Admins can manage these settings within the Google Admin console. It’s important to note that this new feature currently generates pageless documents and does not incorporate web search results.

This language expansion is rolling out gradually to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains, with full visibility expected within 15 days of the March 31, 2025 announcement. Available to Google Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Google One AI Premium, and customers with Gemini add-ons, this update is a great example of Google’s commitment to making its productivity tools more accessible and efficient for a global user base.
