One of the lingering issues with Hangouts is the inability to find where you left off on a conversation, especially in group chats.
Google has fixed this much-needed feature lack and placed a quick link to jump to the last place you were in the conversation.
While seemingly a simple add-on, the feature makes being part of group chats MUCH more bearable and gives users a quick way to quick-scroll right back to the last thing you read.
I’m in quite a few group conversations that continue rolling all day long. I have notifications turned off for most of them, so in the past I’d have to just scroll and scan until I could find the start of he conversation.
Now, I can leave those notifications off and simply jump to my last known place in the discussion and not miss a beat.
This works across the board, as well, so on your Chromebook, this feature is in place just as it appears in the general apps as well.
It’s the small things, sometimes.
