Google is throwing a block party to promote the Google Home smart speaker and how it provides an “amazing in-home experience” when combined with Google Play Music.
The first event took place in Los Angeles last weekend. The next block party is being held in New York’s Chelsea Market Friday Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25 from 10-9 and 10-6 respectively.
The image above is a preview of what you can expect to see if you make it to the party. Google has even invited some popular YouTube channels to help highlight how they use Google Home.
The block party is yet another move by Google to showcase their new smart home assistant that is currently on sale from multiple retailers. Included with the purchase of Google Home is a complimentary 6-month subscription to Google Play Music. Play Music gets you unlimited streaming music as well as YouTube Red and commercial-free play of YouTube video.
