The Black Friday and Cyber Week deals are quickly winding down but that doesn’t mean that you can score a killer deal on a great Chromebook. Comet Lake Chromebooks are at the top of the food chain at the moment but the 8th Gen Kaby Lake models are plenty powerful and still have more than five years of dutiful service left in them. If you can find one of these devices on offer, you may find yourself scoring a Chromebook that’s just as good as the latest models while keeping some of your hard-earned cash in your pocket.

Lenovo’s Yoga Chromebook happens to be one of those devices I just mentioned. The premium 15.6″ convertible offers not only a great lineup of powerful internals but it is also the only 4K Chromebook on the market. When we reviewed the UHD version of the Yoga Chromebook, we found it a bit difficult to recommend over its lesser, 1080P sibling simply because the $200 price bump wasn’t worth the loss of battery life. Don’t get me wrong, the 4K display is brilliant and beautiful but the Full HD model is no slouch. The screen is still bright and offers great colors with less strain on the battery. Still, the 4K is a great Chromebook it’s just a hard sell at the $899 MSRP.

Thanks to Lenovo’s last-minute doorbusters, you can now grab the 4K Yoga Chromebook and save $300. That nabs you an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage for only $599. Yes, you can get the 10th Gen Acer Spin 713 for $30 more but I know that many users like that 15.6″ display, and others simply want UHD. To get UHD in a Comet Lake device, you’re forking over nearly a grand for the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. If that’s still outside of your budget, the 1080P model has been discounted as well. You can pick it up for $499. That’s a savings of $220 and you’ll get the exact same internals as the UHD model. Both models have a backlit keyboard and they will get Chrome OS updates through June of 2025. That’s a pretty stout value.

But wait, there’s more. Rakuten is offering last-chance cashback at Lenovo right now. When you purchase before the end of the day, you’ll score 10% cashback into your Rakuten account. That brings the totals savings on the 4K model to $359 and that’s a tough deal to beat when you consider this is the only Chromebook of its kind on the market. You can sign up for a free Rakuten account at the link below and you’ll get an extra $40 bonus when you make your first eligible purchase. Find both Yoga Chromebooks below as well.
