Acer Chromebook R11 – Another recertified device, the Acer R11 is a touchscreen convertible that has access to the Google Play Store and over 1 million Android Apps.
The Acer recert store has the Intel N3150 model with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage(the same model I have) for $186. Look around while you’re there. Acer updates the site constantly and you never know what deal you might stumble upon.

ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 – Core m3 power, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. This 12.5″ all-metal convertible is still my personal favorite for 2017. You can grab one at a $30 discount from a couple Amazon stores. Adorama’s Amazon store will get you checked out with no tax or shipping. Find the options below.

We have a pair of Lenovo Chromebooks on sale. The ThinkPad Chromebook 13 is a Celeron-powered device with 4GB RAM and 16GB storage. Regularly priced at $299, you can grab this workhorse for $199. The Lenovo Chromebook N22 is a rugged, 11.6″ device with an IPS touchscreen, 180° hinge and a spill-resistant keyboard. The N22 houses an Intel N3060 processor, 4GB RAM and 16GB storage and is on sale for $192.

Samsung Chromebook Plus – Likely a competitor for best Chromebook of 2017, the ARM-powered Chromebook is in stock with a slight discount. 4GB RAM and 32GB storage may not impress but that display is second to none. The stylus gives the Samsung a uniqueness you won’t find in other devices.

HP Chromebook 13 G1 – These deals seem to be more and more frequent on Amazon and right now you can get a refurbished Core m5 for only $399. That’s dirt cheap. If that wasn’t a good enough deal you can pick up the refurbished Core m7 for $570. That’s half the price of a new one.
If a Chromebook isn’t in your dad’s future, maybe some other tech may be up his alley. Right now you can grab Google Home from a number of retailers at a $20 discount. Additionally, Google has all their Chromecast streaming devices discounted while supplies last.
