Black Friday deals are long gone but there’s still a chance to save some cash and score a premium Chromebook if you’ve found yourself in the market for a new device. While you probably won’t find crazy deals like $250 off of the HP Chromebook x360 14c at the moment, two of our top picks of 2020 happen to be on offer right now and they’re worth taking a look at if you are shopping for a premium, late-model Chromebook that will give you the best of what Chrome OS has to offer.

Acer Chromebook Spin 713

We’re probably beating a dead horse at this point but the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 won our coveted top-pick for Chromebook of the year and that’s not just in its price range. For many reasons, we feel that the 3:2, USI-compatible convertible is the best overall device of the year when you consider price versus overall value. At $629, you’re getting a bright 360-nit display, premium metal build, backlit keys, 2-in-1 form-factor and the list goes on and on. It’s a ridiculous value when you put it up against devices with similar specs.

If you bought the Acer Spin 713 at full retail, don’t dismay. You still got an incredible Chromebook at a great price. If you’ve been considering this model, Best Buy has knocked $80 off of the MSRP and I’m telling you that you should run not walk to your nearest Best Buy or hop online and grab this deal before it’s too late. It’s not the cheapest we’ve seen the Spin 713 but it’s close and $549 makes this the best deal going on a premium Chromebook. Period.

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

Samsung’s ultra-premium Galaxy Chromebook has caught a lot of flack due to its poor battery life but the fact remains, it is probably the most luxurious Chromebook ever made. The Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of NVMe storage combined with Samsung’s embedded stylus and that crispy 4K display make it a formidable weapon in just about any tech arsenal. It doesn’t hurt that the Galaxy also comes in that eye-catching Fiesta Red for those wanting to leave an impression when the take it out of their bag.

For users simply wanting a great Chrome OS experience, the Galaxy is a tough sell at $999. That said, a lot of buyers simply want a flagship device with flagship specs and a premium look and feel. The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook offers all of that and more and right now, you can pick up the Red or Gray model at Best Buy and save $100. Those wanting the very best and don’t care about the price should be very satisfied with this Chromebook for $899. Check it out below. Oh and don’t forget to grab a free Rakuten account. You can pick up 3% cashback from Best Buy right now when you have the Rakuten Chrome extension installed.
