Yesterday’s release of Chrome OS 59 has brought Android Apps to a small handful of devices including the ASUS Chromebook Flip C213. While not officially announced for purchase, the latest rugged Chromebook from ASUS has shown up on Amazon for order.
Marked “temporarily out of stock,” you can still place your order for the ASUS and you will be notified when it’s ready to ship.
In case you missed the details, the C213 is ASUS’s new, Apollo Lake-based educational device that features dual-cameras, drop resistance and a spill-proof keyboard.
This model comes with 4GB RAM, 32 GB of storage and has access to the Google Play Store in the Stable channel. The rugged, convertible form-factor is geared towards student’s needs in the classroom. You can pre-order one today for $349.
