Acer is expanding its lineup for cloud-first organizations, debuting the new, premium Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 and announcing immediate availability for the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514. A key feature for both new models is support for Cameyo, a virtual app delivery (VAD) platform. This is a massive deal for enterprise adoption, as it enables organizations to provide secure, streamed access to all their business-critical applications—including legacy Windows, Linux, and internal apps—directly on the Chromebook Plus devices. Let’s talk details.

Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714

The headliner of today’s announcement is the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 (CBE794-1/T). This device is positioned as a premium, thin-and-light laptop for high-performance multitasking.
