When you sign up for a free account, you get to “cash in” on Rakuten’s partnerships with over 2,500 retailers. When you make a qualifying purchase, the applicable cash back is added to your “Big Fat Check” that Rakuten will send to you every quarter in the form of a paper check or PayPal.
