The holiday shopping season has arrived a bit early this year and Rakuten is getting in on the fun with Double Cash Back at dozens of online retailers over the next month. Just in case you aren’t familiar, Rakuten (formerly Ebates) is the world’s largest cashback shopping platform. When you sign up for a free account, you get to “cash in” on Rakuten’s partnerships with over 2,500 retailers. When you make a qualifying purchase, the applicable cash back is added to your “Big Fat Check” that Rakuten will send to you every quarter in the form of a paper check or PayPal.
