We thought the deal we saw back in August—where the Pixel 9a dropped to $399—was good. But apparently, Google had one more surprise up its sleeve for the holiday shopping season. Right now, the Google Pixel 9a can be had for just $349.

That is a full $150 off its regular price, and technically speaking, this appears to be Google’s lingering Black Friday/Cyber Monday discount over on Amazon. We aren’t sure how long it will stick around, but at this price, this is one of the absolute best values in the smartphone world today.

Why the Pixel 9a is a no-brainer at $349

Usually, when you buy a phone in the $300 range, you are prepared to make sacrifices. You expect a dim screen, a stuttery processor, or cameras that fall apart in low light. The Pixel 9a flips that script entirely.

Because it runs on the Tensor G4 chip—the exact same processor found in the flagship Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro—it doesn’t feel like a budget phone. It’s fast, fluid, and packed with all of Google’s latest AI magic, including Magic Eraser, Audio Magic Eraser, Circle to Search, and Live Translate.

You’re also getting a display that punches way above this price point. The 6.3-inch “Actua” OLED screen is bright, punchy, and features a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Combine that with the largest battery ever put in an A-series Pixel (5100 mAh), and you have a phone that can easily last a full day and then some.

When you look at the competition, the value here is absurd. The similarly priced iPhone 16e, for example, is stuck with a slower 60Hz screen and a single rear camera. The Pixel 9a gives you that faster display plus a versatile dual-camera system (48MP main + 13MP ultrawide) that delivers that signature, contrasty Pixel look we all love.

And perhaps the best part? 7 years of software updates. Buying a $349 phone often means worrying it will be obsolete in two years. With the Pixel 9a, you are covered until the early 2030s. If you have been waiting to upgrade, or if you need a fantastic phone for a family member this holiday season, do not hesitate. Deals this good rarely last long!
