Black Friday is upon us because, well, it’s 2020 and nothing makes sense. For that reason, we all get to enjoy month-long deals and promotions aimed at the millions of shoppers who are now heading to the internet to supplement the in-store holiday shopping madness that is the day after Thanksgiving. For Chromebook lovers, this means savings of hundreds of dollars on late-model, premium Chromebooks as well as dirt-cheap deals on budget model devices.
Somewhere in between those two categories lies the $300-$400 Chromebook and this is where many shoppers will score some great savings while grabbing a device that’s actually worth buying. Retailers such as Best Buy have gotten wise to shoppers’ needs and wants by bundling Chromebooks with Google-y products like a Lenovo Smart Clock or Works with Chromebook peripherals. Coming in with a package deal of its own, the wholesale club giant Costco has a killer deal on the sleek 14″ HP Chromebook 14a that will not only save you $100 but net you a handy laptop sleeve and HP wireless mouse.
The model in question here is one of HP’s newest budget devices and it is powered by the Intel N4000 CPU which has proven itself as a capable little processor for remote learning and personal use. The HP features a Full HD 1080P non-touch display, 4GB of RAM, and a sweet 64GB of storage. Normally, this Chromebook retails for $299 but Costco is discounting that down to $199 and throwing in the mouse and laptop sleeve for your troubles. Not a Costco member? No problem. While many of Costco’s discounts and products are exclusive to club members, you can still purchase this bundle but you will have to pay a 5% surcharge. That still puts the Chromebook and accessories under $240 and that’s a very sweet deal. Check it out at the link below.
