Once again Google shows off their all-in commitment to the #madebygoogle brand. This time they’ll be featuring the Google Home smart speaker in an ad running during tonight’s airing of Super Bowl 51. This isn’t the first time Google has had a presence in the big game. However, this is the first hardware-centric advertisement from the search giant to debut during the NFL Championship game.
On the heels of major Chromebook announcements and the release of the Pixel phone, the upcoming Super Bowl ad marks another notch in Google’s belt as they reach deeper into the consumer hardware market.
It’s clear that Google takes the #madebygoogle name seriously. Thirty second ad placement for this years Super Bowl costs roughly 5 million dollars. That may be a drop in the bucket to Google, but it speaks volumes to their resolute dedication to their new branding.
Check out the video below and look for it during tonight’s game.

Announced at the #madebygoole event last October, Google Home is the smart-home device powered by the Google assistant. From streaming to smart devices to dimming the lights in the kitchen and a plethora of things in between, Google Home looks to find itself in the center of homes across the nation.
