It looks as if our reports of the device codenamed ‘Elm’ have come to fruition. It has been outed by Roland Quandt (via Liliputing) that the Chromebook R13 by Acer is coming soon.
The specs line up with what we knew about ‘Elm’ prior:
- 13-inch Display
- Touchscreen
- 4GB RAM
- MediaTek MT8173
- 360-Degree Hinge (as denoted by the ‘R’ in the model)
If you search the proper name (CB5-312T) you’ll find some online outlets already having product pages up for the device, so this leak seem pretty legit.
As we always say, these specs and stats aren’t official as Acer has not made an official announcement, but this all adds up. It seems Roland Quandt is quite accurate here.
