Last week when we featured this deal there was a lot of question as to the validity and accuracy of this seemingly insane price. The HP Chromebook 13 G1 with a Core M7 processor and 16GB RAM is going to set you back as much as $1200 depending on where you purchase it.
The Amazon seller listing this device had a mere 9 models in stock at the time of our first article and they sold out quick, like 24 hours. Rightfully so, too.
At $650, the HP 13 deal gets you one of the most powerful Chromebooks available at a discount of over $400. That’s crazy!!!
Many questioned the accuracy of the listing or the credibility of the seller and we don’t blame you. Just recently we encounter a couple listings for the Google Pixel LS at a price so cheap it seemed to good to be true, and it was.
The seller had no history and was a brand new store. Upon ordering the Pixel, we were contacted by the seller who wanted to make the transaction outside of the Amazon dashboard. Not cool.

Just a quick public service announcement. If you are shopping Amazon, eBay or any other massive retail site and the seller wants to complete the transaction outside the standard parameters of said site, DON’T!
There is a reason these sites provide seller ratings and a verified way to make purchases. Outside of their protocols you are at risk of being scammed and the site will have no recourse if you don’t follow the rules.

I’m very happy to report that this Amazon seller is the real deal. With at the very least a year in business on the site, GGTECH has amassed almost 600 reviews with a 4.9 out of 5 star rating. They have very clear, concise return policies and are very transparent about their transactions.
