Cyber Week is squarely in the rearview mirror but Best Buy just rolled out some great deals on three devices that made our “Best of 2020” list and this is your chance to save big on a great Chromebook. The first device on the list happens to be our number one device of the year and it’s already a great deal at its $629 MSRP.
Acer Chromebook Spin 713
Our top pick in its price range and our overall winner for best Chromebook of 2020, the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 offers the most well-rounded experience of any 10th Gen Comet Lake device on the market at a price that’s near impossible to beat. For $629, you get the powerful Intel Core i5-10210U, 8GB of RAM, and an ample 128GB of storage. The 13.5″ convertible has one of the best displays you can find and the 3:2 aspect ratio gives you a workspace that’s comparable to devices that have a much larger footprint.
The Spin 713 is compatible with the USI stylus of your choice and the metal chassis gives the Chromebook a sleek, ultra-premium look and feel. It also features a glass trackpad and a backlit keyboard. There is little this device doesn’t offer and right now, you can pick one up from Best Buy for $549. That’s an $80 savings on an already very affordable Chromebook.
Lenovo Chromebook Duet
Arguably the best Chromebook tablet every created, -yes, I know you’re thinking “what about the Slate or the HP X2” but I”m talking value factor. – the Lenovo Chromebook Duet offers a versatility that you won’t find on very many devices. While we don’t see this as a primary laptop, it does make a formidable Android tablet and a great secondary Chromebook to throw in your bag or just keep around the house. Normally $299, we feel that the Duet is well worth the price but you can actually grab one at Best Buy today and get it for only $249.
This is the 128GB model which is the one we’ve always recommended simply because you get double the storage for just a few dollars more than the 64GB version sold at Walmart and Lenovo.com. Like most newly released touch-enabled Chromebooks, the Duet is USI compatible and Lenovo offers its own version of the universal pen for only $38 which makes it one of the cheapest on the market. Check out both below.
HP Chromebook x360 14c
Runner-up on the Best of 2020 in the mid-range category, the HP Chromebook x360 14c is an excellent successor to the original x360 14 that was wildly popular during last year’s Black Friday sales. The Core i3 Comet Lake CPU boasts enough horsepower for the majority of users and HP did the right thing by keeping the 8GB of RAM on this Chromebook. All flagships should have at least 8GB of RAM and that’s just the way it is. If you lucked out during Black Friday, you grabbed this premium 2-in-1 for only $379. If not, you can still pick on up for only $479 and save $150. That’s an impressive discount on a really great Chromebook.
