Yesterday, Lenovo dropped a serious discount on the newly released ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook but capturing the deal meant that you had to qualify for a Lenovo Pro small business account. Today, that is no longer the case. If you head over to Lenovo.com, you will find that you can save as much as $521.15 when you purchase the AMD-powered premium convertible and you can save even more with one simple trick.
Current offerings for the ThinkPad C13 Yoga include a Ryzen 3 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB eMMC of storage. That particular model does offer a backlit keyboard and garaged USI stylus but you won’t get the onboard fingerprint sensor that is becoming more commonplace on premium Chrome OS devices. For a more robust Chromebook experience, you can grab the Ryzen 5 model that comes packing 8GB of RAM and 128GB of zipper NVMe storage and it comes with a fingerprint sensor. This model retails for $1,179 and is likely a good choice for users that are accustomed to the performance of devices such as the Acer Chromebook Spin 713.
For the power user that’s looking for the best of the best, the Ryzen 7 model is where it’s at. This configuration doubles the RAM and storage to 16GB and 256GB respectively. Moreover, this particular model adds a crispy 4K display. While we have argued that UHD is overkill on a Chromebook under 14″, it does boost the brightness to 400 nits and that’s a very desirable trait on a premium laptop. This Chromebook has just about everything you could ever want in a laptop. Fingerprint sensor, garaged/rechargeable USI pen, Radeon Graphics, and enough internal horsepower to handle just about anything you can throw at it. With an MSRP of $1,489, buying this Chromebook is a serious commitment but right now, you can take one home for only $967.85 and it doesn’t hurt that the C13 will continue to get updates through June of 2029.

Oh, I mentioned saving a little bit more. This morning, Rakuten bumped its cashback on Lenovo.com from 2% to 8%. That may not sound like much but when we’re talking a thousand dollars, it adds up. Make sure you sign up for Rakuten and install their Chrome extension so you can score nearly $80 back on your Big Fat Check. That brings the total down to just under $900 and that’s a deal worth writing home about. I know that I’ll be buying a Tiger Lake Chromebook when they are available but in the meantime, this deal is very, very tempting. Check it out at the link below and don’t forget to use the coupon code “THINKJAN” when you check out.
