Just last week, I wrote about a leak regarding the brand new, unreleased Onn 4K streaming stick from Walmart. Well, in classic Walmart fashion, the company has already started accidentally putting them on store shelves. Reddit user u/JustLook361 managed to find a brand-new “Onn 4K Streaming Device” mixed in with a bunch of older sticks at their local store, and they were even able to buy it for $30.
Under the hood, the back of the box confirms this stick is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, which is a massive step up from the older 1080p stick. It also officially supports 4K Ultra HD resolution and Dolby Atmos.

Inside the box, Walmart is including the voice remote (with batteries), a 4.88 ft wall AC adapter, and an HDMI extender to help it fit behind tight wall-mounted TVs. The front of the box also says “Google TV with Gemini,” and under the specs on the back, it explicitly lists “Voice control with Gemini for TV.”
But this new $30 stick isn’t the only new streaming hardware on the way from Walmart. As we discussed last week, a redesigned Onn 4K Pro model—which looks suspiciously like a Google TV Streamer clone—is also expected to launch very soon.
And it looks like Walmart is actively clearing the way for this brand-new hardware lineup. Right now, both the existing 4K Plus and the 4K Pro boxes are completely out of stock online. In fact, if I check my local Walmart stores around my area, the entry-level $19 FHD stick is the only Onn streaming device still available to purchase.
At $30, this new 4K stick slots perfectly into Walmart’s lineup, sitting right between their entry-level 1080p stick and their larger 4K Pro box. If history is any indicator, Walmart usually takes a few weeks to officially announce a product after it starts leaking in physical stores. But given that we are already in early April, and stock on older models is completely drying up, I would expect to see this new lineup pop up online very soon!
