Today we are really excited to bring you an unboxing and hands-on of the Viglen Chromebook 360! While the name Viglen is lesser-known here in the US, their 30-year presence in the UK puts them in the unique position of being 1 of only 2 IT hardware manufacturers based in the UK.
Today we have their latest EDU-focused Chromebook in the office and we get a good, close-up look at it in the unboxing.
We reported on this device about a month ago and can say, after spending a bit of time with it, the Viglen Chromebook 360 is a solid effort for a very reasonable price. At £225 (around $272) you are getting an awful lot, here. Hardware aside, you are also getting Chrome licensing for EDU and a 3 year warranty.
The device itself impresses as well, including:
- A great, wide-viewing-angle display
- 360 convertible design
- Fantastic keyboard
- Great touchpad
- Swappable battery
- Spill resistance
- Drop protection
- Braswell processor
- 4GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage
If this device is a harbinger of coming Braswell convertibles to come, I’m honestly pretty excited. We’ll do a proper review in a week or so, but I can confidently say that this device will do very, very well in school systems in the UK.
Hope you enjoy the video!
