If you went ahead and pulled the trigger on the new Samsung Chromebook Plus, Google is making your purchase a little bit sweeter.
Google is frequently offering “goodies” when you purchase a new device. Most of you know about the 100GB of free storage that come with setting up a new Chromebook (one time per Google account). Some of you may have even received a healthy credit with the purchase of a Pixel Phone.
This time Google has pitched in a $20 Play Store credit when you set up your new Samsung Chromebook Plus. Reported by our friends at Chrome Story, reddit users are telling of the popup when booting the Samsung for the first time. Click the button, get $20 added to your Play Store account.
If for some reason you didn’t get the notification you can head to Google’s “goodies” page from your Chromebook Plus and redeem the offer.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro is expected to be released in late April but no word as to whether this offer will apply to the higher-end version.
Special thanks to our good friend +Dinsan Francis for digging up this deal as we get ready to unbox our very own Chromebook Plus.
