We've had a lot of requests for a walkthrough of installing a Linux distro on Chrome OS. So, we decided to go with the most popular distro out there. MX Linux is a Debian-based Linux distribution with a medium footprint and a user-friendly interface. Installing it on a compatible Chromebook is simple and the OS works quite well inside the VM. See below for download links and terminal commands. MX Linux download - https://sourceforge.net/projects/mx-linux/ Install Virtual Machine Manager on your Chromebook(run this command in your Linux terminal) - sudo apt install qemu-kvm libvirt-clients libvirt-daemon-system bridge-utils virtinst libvirt-daemon virt-manager -y Note: you will need to check your Linux kernel version in the Linux container.
