With all the buzz surrounding the imminent launch of Googlebook hardware, a lot of people have been asking what this new era means for existing Chromebooks. In our latest video breaking down the future of ChromeOS, we made one thing crystal clear: Chromebooks aren’t going anywhere, and these affordable, capable machines still deliver unbeatable day-to-day value.
To celebrate that enduring value, we wanted to put a newer Chromebook that embodies these traits (affordability and value) directly into the hands of someone in the Chrome Unboxed community. So, that’s exactly what we’re doing: we are giving away a Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook with the new Kompanio 540 inside!
The Prize: The Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook
If you caught our recent Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook unboxing, you know this little machine punches well above its weight class. For an affordable, all-plastic build, Lenovo nailed the fundamentals: it packs a surprisingly great display, durable construction, and an efficient ARM processor that sips power and easily delivers all-day battery life.
Whether you need a reliable secondary device around the house, an ultra-portable travel companion, or a dependable machine for school, the Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook represents everything we still love about the core Chromebook experience.
