Though we are seeing increased interest and activity around more upcoming devices in the Chrome OS world, the general appeal of the Samsung Chromebook Plus is still very real and very strong.
Since its arrival on the scene officially at CES in January, terms like pre-order, back-order, in stock soon, etc. have been a mainstay when talking about the Chromebook Plus.
As these things tend to go, it seems Samsung was either unaware of the early demand or unwilling to ramp up production sooner. With almost a month of pre-order data, we thought they would be ready for launch.
They weren’t.
February 12th came and there were many who had to wait weeks for their new Chromebook to ship.
Hopefully we are seeing an end to that issue as Amazon now has the Samsung in stock and is keeping up with demand for the time being. Though we are hoping this is getting us near the end of back-order issues, we can’t be for sure yet.
So, if you are thinking about getting one of these, now is the time. They are in stock and shipping immediately, and that simply hasn’t been the case up to this point.
