Despite a minor setback, the Google Home Mini has officially launched and is available for purchase from the Google Store today. For only $49, you can get into the smart-home game with the help of the Assistant-enabled speaker that is discreet and designed to fit with most any decor.
Check out our first impressions of the Google Home Mini.
As Robby states in the video, the Google Home Mini is the perfect gateway device for those looking to test the smart-home waters. The Google Store is taking orders today with retailers like Walmart, Target and BestBuy releasing the Mini tomorrow.
If you want to take a look before you buy, most of these stores will likely have the Google Home Mini on display tomorrow. The Mini comes in three colors, Chalk, Charcoal and Coral. If you want the Coral device you will have to order directly from Google as it is exclusive to their store.
Google continues to show their commitment to the #madebygoogle brand with more and more marketing for all of their products including and especially the Google Home Mini. Almost daily, I find myself viewing a commercial for the latest addition to the Home lineup. Throw in the Pop-Up stores and Donut shops to showcase the hardware, it’s clear that Google is betting on success for the Mini and the Google Assistant.
To get your hands on a Google Home Mini, head to the Google Store at the link below. Don’t forget, I’ll be at the Google Donut shop in Indy November 4th. If you’re in the area, come on by. I’d love to meet you.
