Last May, Google rolled a the revamped paid Google Drive platform under the brand Google One and with it, they promised users some special benefits on top of the added features that come with the storage.
For those of you with the traditional 15GB of free Drive storage, the update to Google One didn’t really change anything. However, if you are on a paid plan Google added product support, family sharing and more.
As far as “extra benefits,” Google mentioned Play Store credits and exclusive discounts on hotel pricing. Today, it appears that they are rolling out even more extras to users on the 2TB paid plan.
Reported by 9to5Google’s Ben Schoon, an email tip confirmed that Google is sending our promo codes for a free Google Home Mini to users on this tier.
To thank you for being a valued 2 TB Google One member, we’re giving you a Google Home Mini at no charge. We’ll even cover shipping. Play music, get answers, and more just by saying “Hey Google.” Limit one per plan, for existing qualifying members only; offer ends April 21, 2019.

The 2TB plan is priced at $9.99 a month and it is unclear at this point if the larger plans will also receive this promotion. If you’re on the 2TB plan or any paid plan for that matter, it may be a good time to check your promotions and spam folders in Gmail to see if you’ve benefited from Google’s generosity.
If you have received a promo for being a paid Google One customer, drop a comment below and let us know which plan you’re on and we will update accordingly. If you did get one, enjoy your new smart-speaker.
