Your darkest fears will awaken in these woods.
It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…Blair Witch is a first-person, story-driven psychological horror game based on the cinematic lore of Blair Witch.

The Blair Witch Project was a 1999 American supernatural horror film based on the purportedly true story of three student filmmakers—Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, and Joshua Leonard—who hike in the Black Hills near Burkittsville, Maryland in 1994 to film a documentary about a local legend known as the Blair Witch. The three disappear, but their equipment and footage is discovered a year later. The purportedly “recovered footage” is the film the viewer sees. It later expanded to include more lore and had a cult following. This game is based on that lore. What makes it especially creepy is that it studies your reactions to fear and stress!
If you already have Halloween plans, you can still pick up Blair Witch until November 5, 2020, at the latest. Just click the button below to be redirected to it on the Epic Games Store and ‘buy’ it for $0.00. Then, you’ll need to visit your GeForce NOW account, click in the search bar and search for the game. Make sure you add the Epic Games version and not the Steam version or you won’t be able to play it! Once you’re all set, just turn the lights out and click play to be immersed in this creepy, gothic style game. As per my usual disclaimer, I wouldn’t let your kids play this one if they’re too young.
