In 2015, the inception of the Nevada Ready 21 (NR21) program laid the foundation for the state to move forward with its 1:1 computing initiative for K-12 students.
This week, Governor Brian Sandoval furthered support for NR21 buy signing into law Senate Bill 467 which solidifies the plan for getting devices into the hands of each and every student across Nevada.
As part of the distribution blueprint, EdTech company CTL was contracted to prove over 19,000 Chromebooks to students grade 5th-8th along with classroom solutions such as web-based training for educators, access points, web filtering and continuing education for school professionals.
